Stop over-explaining your point
When you over-explain, you dilute your message.
So make your point once – clearly and succinctly. Then pause. Let it land.
If the other person needs more, they’ll ask.
When you go into too much detail, three things tend to happen:
👉 You lose their attention
👉 You weaken your original point
👉 You sound less confident
To be a strong communicator, you need to trust your message.
So stop over-explaining your point. Speak less, but say more.
