If you sign up for our events or newsletter

We send out a regular newsletter to those that have opted in. As part of the online registration process, we collect personal information. We keep this to a minimum – only asking for what we need to stay in touch.

We use that information for a few reasons: to send you our Team Sterka newsletter and to notify you of any Team Sterka events; to contact you if we need to obtain or provide additional information; to check our records are correct and to check every now and then that you’re happy and satisfied. We don’t rent or trade email lists with other organisations or businesses.

We use a third-party provider, MailChimp, to deliver our newsletter. We gather statistics around email opening and clicks using industry standard technologies to help us monitor and improve our newsletter.

If you submit personal data to us in relation to a job application, we’ll use your data for this purpose only. We’ll only use the data to communicate with you during the recruitment process. If your application is unsuccessful we’ll dispose of your data through confidential means unless agreed with you in advance that we will keep your details on file. If this happens, it will be for a maximum of 2 years and will only be used in relation to recruitment.
