When everyone nods along, it’s easy to think you’ve reached the right answer.

Maybe you have.

Or… 

Maybe no one wants to be the first to disagree.

So before you move on, invite another perspective:

👉 What haven’t we considered?
👉 What could go wrong?
👉 If you saw this differently, what would you say?

People can find it easier to disagree when you invite them to.

And when they do, explore what they have to say without judgement.

Make it easier for people to disagree.

You might make a much better decision because of it.

Sometimes people stop asking questions because they’re confused. Sometimes they don’t feel comfortable challenging you. Sometimes they’ve given up trying to understand.

So don’t mistake fewer questions for greater understanding.

Instead, find out what they’re really thinking:

👉 What makes sense so far?
👉 What still feels unclear?
👉 What are you less convinced about?

Give them the time and space to answer properly. Don’t rush to fill the silence.

A quiet conversation can feel like an easy one. That doesn’t mean it’s gone well.

Notice when people stop asking questions.
