Have you ever stopped to think what they’d be up to if they weren’t doing these things?
Have you ever thought about what they’re giving up for you?
Next time you spend time with a colleague or client, acknowledge what they’re giving up. Get them to talk about what else they’ve got going on.
They’ll likely appreciate you taking the time to understand what’s going on for them.
