If your goal is to prove someone wrong, you’ll probably make them defensive.
Even if you’re right, they’re less likely to listen. And they’re less likely to buy into your perspective.
Try this instead:
👉 Acknowledge their perspective
👉 Show you understand where they’re coming from
👉 Calmly share your view
People are unlikely to change their minds when they feel attacked. They’re far more likely to change their minds when they feel heard.
So stop trying to win the argument.
And start trying to move the conversation forward.
