What happened

Blink’s Managing Director, Sam Wright, saw account management as a weak spot. He joined a Team Sterka taster session and then enrolled his team:

    1. A 6-month journey – Across 13 online workshops, the team built skills in communication, influencing, presentations and handling difficult conversations.
    2. Growing confidence – The team began tackling client situations with real confidence, taking ownership instead of relying on senior staff to step in.
    3. Visible changes – Quarterly reviews became sharper, presentations stronger and everyday communication more considered. Client retention improved as accounts were managed more effectively.
    4. After the programme – Proactive client management became a part of the culture. Even senior staff refined their approach, embedding people skills alongside technical expertise.
